An Eco-Bio-Developmental Approach to Perinatal Health from Hospital to Community
Overview: The focus of the conference is to educate attendees regarding viral threats to the infant, reducing disparities in cesarean-sections through improved communication, environmental justice, understanding foster care, maternal mental health, and challenges in early intervention.
Target Audience: Physicians, nurses, social workers, community organizers, educators, human service providers, community health workers, child care providers, community leaders, businesses and consumers from the seven county Hudson Valley, NY region, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster.
Course Directors: Heather Brumberg, MD, MPH, FAAP Professor of Pediatrics & Clinical Public Health, New York Medical College Director of Regional Neonatal Public Health Programs, Associate Director of the Regional Perinatal Center, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital Westchester Medical Center Health Network.
